New Village Alliance
2021 holds incredible promise for The New Village Alliance and our sister organization, Save Kyamulibwa Alliance Uganda. We are set to open our orphanage facility which we have been building for the past year! We have had many breakthroughs this past year…if you don’t know our story check out the video below:
New Village Alliance came about through a sister-village relationship between Madrid, New Mexico USA and Kyamulibwa, Uganda in Eastern Africa.
Programs and Projects
Orphan Sponsorship program
Through our sister organization SKAU in Uganda we provide a sponsorship program enabling orphans to attend school and receive scholastic materials and additional support.
Farmers support program
Through SKAU we provide support to farmers in a number of ways from sponsoring an agronomist to help move away from dangerous agro-chemicals, to trialing new varieties for potential cash-crops.
Supporting women who support the world
The New Village Alliance supports women’s groups in the Kyamulibwa area because they “are the glue that holds the community together.”
Infrastructure Program
Fresh water was identified as a critical, fundamental need for healthy community development. The Alliance provided two fresh water wells in 2019 and more are planned for 2020.
Children's Health Program
When children develop serious illness the family is faced with many challenges and paying for treatment is often impossible.The Alliance provides funds for medical treatment and family support and counseling.
